International Girls in ICT Day is an annual event celebrated on the fourth Thursday of April to encourage and empower girls and young women to pursue careers in information and communication technologies (ICT). The event aims to raise awareness about the gender gap in the ICT sector and inspire girls to consider ICT-related careers. International Girls in ICT Day will be celebrated on 27th April 2023 by International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

The Digital & Social Media marketing for Women-led SMEs’ project of NCB was submitted for WSIS Prizes 2021 for Mauritius.
Out of a total of 1270 submissions, 360 projects including ours was shortlisted for voting and was awarded “Champion” project among the top 5 in its category C7 E-Business.
